The new machines are called Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) or a Video Gaming Devices (VGD). These machines simply take paper money or a players casino card to keep track of wins and losses. Soon you won’t be able to hear the familiar sound of machines spitting out coins after a big payout. Now a more efficient but less exciting piece of paper prints with your winnings on it. The quieter type that loves to play at the casino but not necessarily to win big. They care more about playing the game and beating the house than risking a large amount of money on any game. They see a victory as a victory no matter how much they win. If they were stock traders they would have mutual funds and blue chip stocks. In the casino they turn their attention to small limit black jack tables and nickle slots. Once they start to lose they usually quit to stay ahead of the game.
